When it comes to toys i’m all for easy to pack away / don’t take up much space – The BRIO My first railway take along set does both.
All contained in it’s own carry along storage case you receive; a train and a bell wagon as well as 2 track pieces with ends you can attach to the storage case itself which doubles as additional track. It’s a lovely beginner set but also something you can add too. We have BRIO tracks and trains that Pops shares with her cousin that stays at Dede’s house so this little set is perfect to take on the journey. It is light and sturdy so Pops can carry it herself and joins up the the rest of the track once we’ve arrived for an even bigger play time. What I love about sets like this as they are so simple they leave the game/story up to the child and is the perfect way to encourage imaginative play.
This train set would make the perfect travel toy, being self contained means you can unpack, play and pack it all back with ease. We travel a lot so I can definitely vouch for how hard some toys can be to keep track of, especially while on a small coach!
Although this makes the perfect toy for travel you shouldn’t count it out for a normal house toy. Having its own case will make sure the bits don’t get lost around the house and are all there ready to be played with when your little one wants it. The BRIO My first railway take along set is also the perfect way to encourage your little ones to tidy up after themselves.
Beautifully bright and colourful with a natural wooden track you recieve the great BRIO quality we’ve come to expect. This set is aimed at 18+ – This set can be found on the BRIO website or places like Amazon.
Does your little one like train sets?
Until the next post,
