Another year is coming to an end, another Christmas is approaching and what does that mean? There’s a little Elf on it’s way to make you need to do more stuff then you usually do when the kids have gone to sleep.

Whether your little one believes the Elf is magic or just loves finding where it’s hidden every day then here are some super easy elf on the shelf ideas.

Elf donuts!

What you need to do:

Dip some hoop cereal (branded or not it’s up to you) into some chocolate or icing and add some sprinkles. Completely edible so your little one can have them.

Elf snow/sprinkle angel –

What you need to do:

Lay out some sprinkles or flour on the side and use the elf’s arms and legs to create a snow angel. This actually made more mess than I thought it would so keep that in mind if you’re the one having to clean up after.

Elf riding toys –

What you need to do:

Find a toy that is ‘rideable’ and balance the elf on top. The version of this that I saw the Elf was riding a dinosaur but Pops has a horse that I thought would work better. Let’s keep it clean if you’re doing it for kids!
