As the weather starts getting wetter it’s so much harder to make a dent in the mountain that is our laundry pile. We have a tumble dryer but I don’t tend to use it unless I really have too!
Growing up I was often told I smelt of washing powder and I used to go round shops smelling all the packets. (something I still do sometimes haha) I was worried about scent with this, it is lavender scented but I wasn’t sure it would last once washed. I was wrong, the washing come out smelling so good.
Before starting using ecover liquid our washing machine had a really bad smell when starting up (which I’m sure is down to slugs dying in the drain) but since using it I’ve not noticed the smell. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or down to the ecover but I’m happy either way.
There’s nothing better than fresh smelling washing, I think it even trumps fresh bread (don’t hate me). Getting into bed with freshly washed sheets is one of my favourite things. (especially with freshly shaved legs) It definitely makes for a better night sleep… let’s see if the lavender helps get Pops to sleep too.
I’ve been using ecover washing up liquid for a while now so was already used to the brand and how well it can work and how much kinder to skin and the environment it is.
Pops started school 3 weeks ago and comes home messy everyday. Chalk, paint and for the past week… snot. If there’s anything to test a washing liquid it’s kids clothes. They’ve come out fresh smelling and clean, which is what you want so to add environmentally friendly and kind to skin it’s a definite winner.
Overall I really liked using the liquid, it smelt nice and worked really well. I’d definitely use it again but will probably only buy it if it’s on offer as it’s a little pricey!
Until the next post,
Are and Pops.
