Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year, it doesn’t last nearly long enough in the UK though.
If you have to work on Halloween or your little ones are too young to go trick or treating, why not stay in and have a Halloween themed party?
Step ONE – Choose your film
These are family friendly ones but feel free to use scarier films if you can handle it!
(is it even halloween without this film?)
(Did anyone else fancy Casper when he turned into a kid?)
The Addams Family
The Little Vampire
The Haunted Mansion
There’s so many more to choose from, those are just some of my favourites.
What would you choose?
Step TWO – The snacks.
Popcorn, for an extra Halloween twist add green food colouring with the oil when popping your kernels!
Frankenstein Grape cups. Squishy like eyeballs (and something a little healthy)
Banana ghost pops.
Ghost marshmallow pops.
Ants on a log
Pick and mix (white mice, jelly snakes, teeth)
Witches Brew drink (Blood red or Ghoulish green)
Step THREE – The DECOR.
You don’t need to go crazy with this… unless you want to of course.
Paper plates, Tea light holders and some cobwebs all of which can be bought for only a pound in lots of shops.
You could even try making your own DIY decorations, like these egg box bats that I found on Happy Clippings.
Whether you want to make it spooky or cute there are so many possibilities.
What would you do for YOUR Halloween themed party?
If you love halloween then there’s no reason why you couldn’t have a halloween themed party any night of the year. Like they say, Halloween isn’t just for October… Okay nobody says that but it’s still true!
Until the next post.
