The MAM 2 in 1 single breast pump is everything you’ll need in a breast pump. The ease and speed of an electric with the handy portability of a manual all wrapped into one.
The electric part of the pump has up to 9 different strengths and two modes (stimulation and expression). This allows you to pick the right strength and style for you. I usually start slow and work my way up then start again for optimal comfort and milk ‘capture’.
The simple design and touch screen makes it easy to use and switch between functions and speed. Perfect for mums that are new to pumping.
The pump has a rechargeable battery which lasts up to 5 hours, this means you’re not stuck in one place! I spent so many days/ nights stuck in one spot pumping when Baby R was first born so I’m so excited by this.
Inside the box;
Breast pump 2 in 1 Electric top including cover
Rechargeable motor unit
Breast pump 2 in 1 adaptor
Breast pump 2 in 1 manual top/ pump handle
2 x Easy start bottle with sealing disc ( 130ml + 160ml)
2 x storage cups
To switch to the manual pump is super easy and just requires you changing the top part. Manual pumping can be a bit tricky to begin with but after a bit of practice it can be just as effective as an electric one, although it’s a bit of a work out on the arms.
The pump is compatible with the whole range of MAM Easy Start bottles so you can feed the baby straight away after pumping. The food storage pots are also compatible so you can store your milk without having to make more mess.
I’m not sure I’m ready to start giving Baby R a bottle again because I’ve not long started to enjoy breast feeding but I want to make sure I have some milk stored for once I start combination feeding though. I’d love to make R some breast milk lollies too. Pumping is also a great way to increase milk supply, especially at the beginning if you’re struggling.
I love the idea of not being stuck in one spot whilst pumping and I’m keen to get going with manual pumping. It doesn’t matter if you prefer electric or manual pumping because with this kit you get both.
What are your pumping tips?
