Num Noms Surprise in a Jar – Review.

We’re big fans of Num Noms in this house, you may have seen our DIY sushi and marshmallow pops?

When we were asked if we’d like to review the Num Noms surprise in a jar I said yes. Of course.

Num Noms Surprise in a Jar

When it arrived I was surprised to smell it was scented (It was Cucumber, I wasn’t a fan but Pops liked it). I know the little ones are but I didn’t expect the soft toy version too as well. We received Ama Ebi who was originally a special edition Num from Series 2.

Ama Ebi is a sushi variety the name means sweet shrimp in japanese.

I found the soft toy quiet hard to get out of the jar. If you have smaller kids they may need help, after a little fluff I was happy to see the soft toy was a decent size too! I’m not sure why the label needed to be so big and hard though.

The Num Noms surprise in the jars are for ages 3+.(the little figures are 4+) It’s the perfect way to introduce kids into Num Noms.

Not only can little ones make use of the soft Num Nom they can also use the jar. I opened the jar, took out the Num Nom and handed Pops both. Pops’ loves to fill everything and anything that can be filled so I wanted to see what she would do without being prompted.

After realising she couldn’t use it to actually drink out of she then asked for money, we didn’t have any change so then she had to use her imagination.

By the end of the day she had carried it round the house and accumulated a random mix of things, including a small banana figure, a headband and some hair bobbles.

I’m sure she will be adding lots more to that, especially when she gets her hands on some money! I might try and see if all her little Num Noms can fit inside next time I brave sorting the little toys out.

Which of the Num Noms Surprise in a jar would your little one want? What do you think they would keep in their jar?

Until the next post,
Are and Pops.

We were sent the Num Noms surprise in a jar for the purpose of this review. All opinions are our own.
