Done or been given a Randon act of kindness?
We were running late to meet a friend and I made the mistake of letting pops come out without doing a wee first plus you add the grapes she ate on the way and you see my nightmare when she told me she needed a wee while we were on the bus.
A few seconds before she told me she was hungry so when she said she needed a wee i put it down to her being bored and wanting to get off (yeah she does that alot) not 10 seconds later I see a wet patch form – of course I haven’t brought trousers today – I couldn’t believe it.
The one day I don’t bring spare trousers is the first day in months that she wets. (except for naps)
A man with a little girl about the same age as Pops walked over and looked around his bag on the pram and handed me a pair of trousers.
My automatic reposne was to say no but he insisted and said it’s not nice for her to sit in wet trousers until I get to the shop – I agreed and took them.
I changed pops and thanked the couple and even offered them money but they were just giving them to us because we were in need of them, no strings attached.
It’s such a natural thing nowadays to assume something has a catch, it’s sad when you think about it.
I’m so thankful to that couple and will remember the kindness when I see someone in need.
Have you ever received or given a random act of kindness?
Until the next post,
Are and Pops.
Especially because we have no idea how much it might mean to the other person if they re going through a particularly tough time it could make a big difference in their day, or a little kindness could make their good day even better!
