Autumnal Fashion with Femme Luxe. AD

I’ve never really been someone who changes their clothes with the season but as I’ve got older I’ve started to enjoy adding new bits into my wardrobe to create styles to take me through seasons and the change of weather. My favourite time of year is the autumn, I love the colours and cosy atmosphere it brings so it only feels right to bring that into my wardrobe too.

I’ve never been a big fan of my arms, who is? So when autumn comes around and jumpers are the norm it makes me happy. I probably own more jumpers then anything else if I’m bring honest.

Cropped Black Jumper –

I chose this black cropped jumper from femme luxe because I really liked that it was simple and easy to add to the wardrobe to mix and match with things I already own. I love it with my Jean dungeness dress because with the crop it means there’s not loads of excess material in the lower half. The jumper is really oversized so super comfy and not too thick so a nice transition for those chillier days. I would definitely get this in more colours if they did them!

Knit Jumper –

The second thing I chose was another jumper, this one is a cream knit which has slits up the sides. I love a knit to take me from summer,  through autumn and into winter. I thought this one would be amazing especially when I need to breastfeed as it easily lifts up. Perfect to layer up and a super versatile piece to add to your wardrobe.

Skinny Jeans –

The last thing I chose was these super cute paper bag skinny jeans. These come up a little small so if you are going to buy them then keep that in mind. They would make such a good addition to your autumn wardrobe. Add a jumper (like the cream knit one) some brown booties and a long coat and you have a lovely autumnal look. There are so many possible looks and they are really easy to dress up and down. You can never go wrong with a cute pair of jeans at any time of year.

When choosing these three pieces if clothing I wanted to make sure that I was adding things to my wardrobe that would work really well with the things I already have and that I think most people would already own. They are pretty simple pieces that would be really easy to style with other things that could make it look dressed up or casual meaning they will get lots of wear throughout autumn and winter… and probably even into spring.

Do you have a favourite season?

Which of the three things I choose would you like to wear the most?

Until the next post.
