Father’s day is coming up and now, more than ever is a time we need to show the people in our lives that we care (at a distance for most of us). Many of us haven’t been able to see our parents since before lockdown and some don’t live close enough to even meet up with the 2 metre rule. Shopping online and being able to get gifts for dad sent straight to them is more helpful than ever!
This post contains affiliate and referral links, plus some items sent to us for inclusion.
If you’re looking to shop with small businesses to help support local sellers then it’s worth checking out Etsy and Facebook. Check in with your friends to see if they have started up a lockdown business or if you’re crafty then why not make something yourself?
If you would rather buy something from a bigger store or you can’t find what you need in the smaller shops then we have some great options for you to check out.
If there’s a shop we can’t walk past without wanting to go in for a mooch, and free sample then Whittards is it. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and all you need to go with them. We went for the Sugar and Spice Gift box! Marzipan and Cinnamon hot chocolates which can be made vegan using non dairy milk. We love their hot chocolates and also have the chilli, peanut butter and mint, which we bought ourselves before lockdown. I also HIGHLY recommend their chocolate covered coffee beans if you’re a coffee lover.
I’ve got really into audio books recently and have finished 4 of them in the past couple of weeks, an Audible subscription is a great gift idea if your dad doesn’t have the time to sit and read. If they’re into reading on a tablet then why not get them a voucher or Kindle unlimited. If they prefer a proper book and love to read all genres then check out the crime thriller ‘A Wash of Black’ by Chris Mcdonald.
What’s more synonymous with dads then loud snoring? If yours does then check out these Good Night anti snoring rings. Worn on the little finger using pressure points it’s designed to help eliminate snoring. Definitely worth a try if your dad snores!
Kids and grown ups love it so, the happy world of HARIBO. On their own or part of a hamper these make a great gift.
If your dad is more chocolate than sweets then Morse Toad are a great option, personalised chocolates sent straight to your door (or theirs). As well as a personalised message in chocolate you can add your own photo and frame so its 2 gifts in 1.

Part of living so far away from my dad in lock down is knowing he is eating well, especially with his heart condition so if you feel the same then why not send them a recipe box like Mindful chef (use [email protected] in promo box at checkout for £20 off) or Hello fresh? (sign up with our link and get £20 off your first box). All the ingredients they need to make delicious and healthy meals at home.
