Halloween in and around Caerphilly 2019

I absolutely love Halloween but not being able to drive I feel like I miss out on lots of good events. I’m sure there are so many events that are close by I just never know of them (can you relate?). Here’s a list of what’s on this Halloween in and around Caerphilly.

Does your little one like the excitement of halloween but not the scariness? The events marked with a ** are non horror.

**Crafts with Queen Bee Crafts – In the Old Library, Caerphilly on the 31st October. Join Sally and Claire for kids craft sessions at various times in the day. All materials are included and they will be creating sugar skulls. £5 and £3 per sibling.

Kids Fun Playcentre – Halloween toddler morning on the 24th October at 9.30am – £3.50 for entry. Join Minnie and Mickey dressed in their best halloween costumes for singing and dancing. Free refreshments.

Pugh’s Garden Centre Cwtchy Creepy Crawlies Halloween Workshop is £8 per child on the 29th and 30th October at various times. Kids (recommended age 3-12) will get to make their own skeleton plant pots or pine cone pets (depending on the day) that they can take home with them. Before you leave make sure to go on their ghost hunt around the garden centre to find all of the spooky subjects to get your spooktacular sticker.

Funtastic will be having a Halloween party (with Mike and Sully from Monsters inc) on the 31st October between 4.30 – 7.30pm. £8 per child which includes a cheese or ham lunch bag.

Team Rees Gym are making fitness fun with a spooky adventure around Caerphilly. Using your map you head around Caerphilly to find hidden ghosts which contain either a trick or treat. You finish off at the gym for BBQ, games and even a prize for the best dressed. £5 per child and suitable for all ages (Children to be supervised). 31st -5.30pm- 31st October.

**Summit Centre are having a Neon Adventure Party – Dress code is NON horror. £8 per person ( School years 4 – 6 and years 7 -9 ) which includes lots of activities, glow in the dark paint, glow sticks and a hot drink and hotdog (veggie and GF options available too!) 31st October  – 6 – 8.30pm

**The Eden Centre will be doing a light party on 31st October 5pm – 7pm £4.95 each. Dress code is Superheros and Cartoon characters (nothing scary)

Parti Calan Gaeaf – 31st October, 12.30 – 2pm at Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni – Y Gwyndy. £3 on the day but you need to pre register.

Role Play Lane – Spooktacular Pumpkin Carving – £8 for a session and a pumpkin you can carve and take home with you. There are 3 different sessions on the 30th October. There are only 4 tickets left for the 2:30pm – 4:30pm session, all others are fully booked.

**Hartbeeps Cardiff are having Pumpkin Pixies Parties. 31st October:
10am – Happy house (walking – 5 years)
11.15am – Baby Beeps (sitting – newly toddling)
12.30pm – Baby Bells (Newborn to sitting)
£10 which includes refreshments, craft, goody bag and 45 min party session.

Popplewood Playcentre  will be having a Halloween spectacular

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Bedwas working mans hall’s Family Halloween panto “Motel Transylvania” – 31st October @ 6pm. Tickets are £5.

Cantref will be celebrating Halloween with Harry Trotter between Oct 26th and Nov 4th. Prices go by height for children and under 93cm are free! £11.50 online and £12.50 on the day.

Amelias trust farm will be putting on Halloween activities between 27th Oct – 3rd Nov. From parties to pumpkin patches. Check each event for prices and days as they vary.

The Slime factory – Ultimate Spooktacular Slime Camp

Join them for 4 hours of Halloween craft and slime making, They will have various stations set up where the children will have the chance to make 3 different slimes, there will also be Halloween crafts, games and slime bubble fun, treat bags for all children to take home
